Make your next site visit count

A useful site visit answers specific questions. Carry the floor plan, a written quotation and a list of points that matter to your household.

Look beyond the model apartment

Ask how the sample unit differs from the home being offered. Clarify which finishes, fittings and furniture are included. Where access is permitted, examine the relevant building and unit rather than relying only on a display space.

Observe everyday practicality

Check access roads, parking arrangements, lift access, common areas and the immediate surroundings. Consider noise, daylight and ventilation. Ask how water, power and maintenance are managed.

Ask precise questions

What is included in the quoted price? Which facilities are operational? What remains to be completed? What documents can you take away for review? Ask for written answers to points that influence your decision.

Record what you see

With permission, take photographs and note the date, unit and floor visited. Keep observations separate from statements made by the sales team.

Review after you leave

Compare your notes with the floor plan, quotation and documents. Resolve discrepancies before paying a booking amount. A site visit helps you inspect the property; specialist legal or technical checks may still be needed.
